The Royal Thai Air force in collaboration with the US Air force will organize the 3rd Thunderbirds air show at the cargo terminal in Don Muang Airport, Thailand on 9 October, 2009.

The Thunderbirds, one of the world’s leading US air fighters, will be exhibiting their stunning air-show led by the company of 10 F-16 C/D Block air fighters. Upon the arrival of the Thunderbirds to Thailand, reporters and local people can attend the rehearsal session at 11.00 hrs around the cargo terminal in Don Muang Airport. The rehearsal will begin at 14.00 hrs on 9 October.

The real performance will take place tomorrow, on October 10 at 13.00 hrs and people may arrive as early as 11.00 hrs. Air Force Commander in Chief, Air Chief Marshall Ittaporn Suppawong will preside over the ceremony. He highly recommended for the people attending to wear caps, sun glasses and earplugs..

Over 20 million people around the world have been stunned by the Thunderbirds’ performances in the last two years. Their stunning air show will be scheduled for 77 passes to show their signature moves in the United States, Puerto Rico and countries in Asia such as Australia, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea. The Thunderbirds are currently based in Nellis Airforce base, Nevada, USA.
