The Department of National Parks, will reduce 30%-40% of their service fees during Mondays to Thursdays in order to solve the problem of overcrowded national parks during weekends in the high season.

During the tourist high season in December, tourists spend their holidays traveling to National parks such as Khao Yai National Park, Doi Suthep-Pui National Park and Doi Inthanon. However, to avoid over-crowding during the weekends and peak holiday season, the Department of National Parks plans to reduce their fees by 40% from Mondays to Thursdays. This is to encourage more people to visit the parks during weekdays and non-peak times.
