Thailand wins another travel award

Thailand won top honors in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2009.

Thailand received the awards in several categories, including the Top 100 list of hotels which crown The Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle in Chiang Rai province the number one spot.

Condé Nast Traveler is an American luxury travel magazine published by Condé Nast Publications that reviews high-priced hotels, products, and services. The high-end magazine publishes reviews of only the best hotels in the world.

The top 100 list ranks hotel that achieved scores near perfection, with no score below 92.6. The hotels were rated by the magazine’s readers.

The Four Season Tented Camp Golden Triangle is located in the northern province of Chiang Rai where a grand flower festival is held every year from December to January. Chiang Rai is a popular tourist destination for trekking, hill tribes, elephant riding, and boat riding. (NNT)
