The British International Film Festival 2009 is being held in Bangkok to screen five quality movies from England.

The festival revolves around the topic of global warming. The five films include “The Age of Stupid,” “It’s a Free World,” “Is Anybody There,” “The Boat that Rocked,” and “Thomas & Friends.” In addition, there will be a show called “Airplay UK” which contains 15 music videos from England. The show will take place at TK Park in Central World shopping center.

The British International Film Festival is a collaboration between the British Embassy in Thailand, SF World Cinema, TK Park, Central Retail Corporation, United Family Edutainment and United International Pictures. The festival will run until 11 December at SF World Cinema.

There will also be exhibitions and activities by the British Council on global warming as well as the presentation of projects funded by the organization. (NNT)
